Breaking news, the I-35 bridge has just collpased for no apparent reason.

The Interstate 35W Mississippi River bridge near University Avenue has collapsed into the river.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of 35W are lying in the Mississippi River.

There are multiple cars in the river and a couple cars on fire. According to one witness, there was a school bus full of children on the bridge.

Cars are still on the bridge.

Tons of concrete have collapsed and people are injured. Survivors are being carried up the riverbank.

Some people are stranded on parts of the bridge that aren’t completely in the water.

A tractor-trailer is on fire at the collapse scene.

“It is just horrific,” said witness Marilyn Franzen, who saw the bridge collapse. Franzen said she saw a school bus that managed to stop before the going over the edge of the bridge that she said was carrying 20-30 children.

The road has been under construction since the beginning of the summer.

Mike Gravel Crashes Taxi Cab

I just came across this video of Mike Gravel crashing a taxi cab while being interviewed by the today show. Anyway, I downloaded it and uploaded it to youtube for you to see.

The following is the full transcript of the segment as it occurred on the August 1, “Today” show:

Matt Lauer: “This morning we are starting a new series called Candidate Cribs. A chance to get to know the human side of the presidential candidates. Take them back to the places that were important to them in the past. NBC’s Jonathan Alter took a ride with Democratic contender, former Senator Mike Gravel. And let’s just say the Senator did a bang-up job.”

[On screen headline: "Candidate Cribs, Cruising With Mike Gravel"]

Jonathan Alter: “Mike Gravel.”

Mike Gravel, behind the wheel of a cab: “American people are fed up with the partisanship. They’re fed up with the phoniness and if I’m hitting it right, I’ll become President.”

Alter: “Former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel, now 77, drove a Checker Cab in New York in the 1950s, while attending Columbia University. So we decided to rent him a Checker and ride with him up to his alma mater. Did you ever get jumped or in any accidents?”

Gravel: “Twice, no, never had an accident. I was lucky, knock on something.”

Alter: “Gravel is best remembered for helping end the Vietnam era draft with a filibuster and for reading the Pentagon Papers in the Senate. Now, after a quarter-century out of politics, he’s an angry Rip Van Winkle.”

Gravel: “I know how to get out of Iraq. I know how to affect the solution, it’s a diplomatic solution.”

Alter: “Careful! Ohh!”

Gravel: “Hang on!”

Off-camera voice: “Okay, we’re okay.”

Gravel: “Where’s the-[bleeps]”

Off-camera voice: “The brakes went out.”

Alter: “It turns out the Checker we rented didn’t exactly have the best brakes.”

Gravel: “Wait a second, let me press it to see if the fluid goes out. Okay?”

Alter: “Gravel the cabbie, may be a little rusty but not Gravel the politician.”

Gravel: “If we set the tone we’re gonna see a better result in the world than the tone of imperialism, violence and war that we have been setting. Can I say it more emphatically?”

Alter: “When we arrive at Columbia, a warm welcome.”

[Footage of students with signs cheering for Gravel]

Gravel: “Let’s go find a place to talk.”

Alter: “His message? Accountability with real teeth.”

[Camera close-up on sign reading: "Columbia Democrats Say...End The War!"]

Gravel: “The sooner we put some of our leaders in jail for what we do to the people, the sooner we’re gonna stop people doing that!”

Alter: “A ride on the wild side with Mike Gravel. For ‘Today,’ Jonathan Alter, NBC News, New York.”

Arab princesses get owned

Seems people are getting sick and tired of the ridiculous rules Islam pushes on it’s followers. If you want to follow Islam, by all means do it. But don’t think for a second the rest of the world wants anything to do with your retarded rules.

This brings me to a story I found today about Three Arab princesses that were thrown off a British Airways flight after refusing to sit next to male passengers they didn’t know.

First of all, why are “princesses” flying commercial? I have to assume combating “global warming” isn’t one of the causes for them flying commercial. Maybe this was another test by Islam like the recent “6 flying imams” fiasco.

Regardless, why do these scum think the rest of the world has to accommodate their sick rituals?

” Cabin crew tried to rearrange the seats but passengers travelling together refused to give up their allotted places. The captain tried to mediate but after more than two and a half hours of wrangling he ordered the bulk of their royal party off the plane.

What? Two and a half hours the passengers of this plane had to be delayed for these assholes. And for what? Because these stupid bitches can’t sit next to unrelated male passengers? Give me a break. I’m so glad the passengers gave this “royal family” the finger. Good riddance.

Here’s the full story:

Three Arab princesses were thrown off a packed British Airways flight after refusing to sit next to male passengers they didn’t know.

The dispute - in which the three princesses from the ultra-conservative Qatar royal family demanded segregated seating - left the London-bound plane delayed on a baking Italian runway for nearly three hours.

Furious passengers whistled and clapped as the row intensified before the captain eventually ordered the women to be escorted off the plane.

The princesses, wearing traditional Arab dress, were returning from a day’s shopping in Milan. They arrived at the city’s Linate airport and boarded Heathrow-bound flight BA 563, which was due to take off at 4pm on Thursday.

The women, all relatives of the oil-rich emir of Qatar, Bader Bin Khalifa Al Thani, were booked into business class in a party of eight which included the emir and an entourage of cooks, servants and other staff.

After passengers had fastened their seat-belts and the plane had taxied on to the runway, two male passengers in the entourage got up to protest about where the women were sitting.

According to the customs of Qatar and other Gulf states, women are not allowed to mix with men who are not relatives.

Cabin crew tried to rearrange the seats but passengers travelling together refused to give up their allotted places. The captain tried to mediate but after more than two and a half hours of wrangling he ordered the bulk of their royal party off the plane.

It is understood that five of the eight - including the princesses and the men who left their seats to protest - were removed.

Police and diplomats from the Qatar consulate in Milan were also called in before the plane eventually took off. The rest of the Qatar party left Milan later on an Alitalia flight.

A BA spokesman said: “The people were offloaded because they failed to comply with safety instructions when the aircraft was taxiing. Two passengers stood up and refused to sit down.”

A spokesman at the Qatar embassy in Rome said: “This was a private matter and we have nothing to say.”

Barack Hussein Obama’s intern arrested at Iowa airport

Â

Some news about Barck Hussien Obama that just came out:

An intern working for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign was arrested Friday at the Des Moines airport after authorities flagged an outstanding arrest warrant for aggravated battery in Illinois.

Derrick Lamon Johnson, 20, of Glen Carbon, Ill., was also charged with fleeing from justice.

Tommy Vietor, Iowa press secretary for the Obama campaign, said Johnson had been working for the campaign for about a month as an unpaid intern. Vietor said Secret Service agents learned of the arrest warrant during a criminal background check after Johnson was scheduled to drive in a campaign motorcade. Johnson was booked into the Polk County Jail.

Returning the favor? Christians behead two Muslims.

Just came across this story of 17 Christians convicted of murder and other various crimes. It seems these murders were revenge for the executions of three Christians by the Indonesian government last year.

The three executed Christians had been found guilty of leading a militia that killed at least 70 Muslims during a 1999-2002 religious war on the island that led to the deaths of at least 1,000 people from both faiths.

I wonder how long the Muslims will be allowed to murder innocent Jews and Christians for the simple fact they are not Muslim, without equally violent crimes in retaliation from the victims own religions.

In other words, say Muslims kill 20 Christians in Iraq. Are we going to get to a point where that slaughter is met with the slaughter of 20 Muslims in a Christian dominated country by Christian radicals?

Christians didn’t get to be the dominant religion by being nice, Christians had their dark days just like the Muslims are having today. But will Christians and Jews go back in time and start fighting fire with fire? And if so, could it possibly make the Muslim suicide bombers think twice before blowing up innocent civilians?Â

Remember the movie swordfish? John Travolta says something like “they bomb a church, we bomb 20″, “they kill a school teacher, we blow up one of their schools”. Is that where we are headed? It’s not a nice thing to think about, but it’s certainly possible the darkness in Christianity can come out if provoked.

And just FYI, I’m not a big fan of any religion. I feel religion causes lots of harm to society but also brings much needed love and charity. It’s a double edged sword. However, with Islam, the ratio of good to bad activity is so slanted towards bad, I feel the religion as a whole is bad. Yes I know there are good Muslims, but if you had a choice to rid the world of just one religion, what would you choose? I know what my choice would be Neutral

Full Story:

A dozen Christian men were convicted Thursday and sentenced to up to 14 years in jail for beating to death and beheading two Muslims to avenge the government executions of three Christians in Indonesia last year.

Five other Christians received eight-year terms for burying the pair, who were set upon by a mob as they drove though a Christian neighborhood on Sulawesi island a day after the Sept. 22, 2006, executions of Fabianus Tibo and two other Christian militants.

The three executed Christians had been found guilty of leading a militia that killed at least 70 Muslims during a 1999-2002 religious war on the island that led to the deaths of at least 1,000 people from both faiths.

The South Jakarta District Court found all 17 men guilty Thursday of violating anti-terrorism laws.

“It has been proven that they carried out acts of terror together and tried to hide the crime by hiding the bodies,” said head judge Ahmad Subari.

Two of the 12 found guilty of murder were sentenced to 14 years in jail each, while the other 10 got 12 years.

It was not clear whether any of defendants intended to appeal.

The executions of the three Christian militiamen took place despite an appeal by Pope Benedict XVI to spare the men and claims by human rights groups that their trials were unfair. The revenge killings were the bloodiest incident in several days of protests at the executions.

More than 90 percent of Indonesia’s 220 million people are Muslims, but Sulawesi has a roughly equal number of Muslims and Christians. Earlier this year, police rounded up several Islamic militants accused in bombings and shootings since 2002, and the island has been peaceful since then.

The Muslims take a timeout for killing Christians & Jews

Thursday, July 26, 2007 20:50

The religion of peace in Iraq is focused on something other than the Sunni and Shiite battle lately. That would be the slaughter of Christians and Jews in Iraq. I guess you need to rid the land of infidels before deciding which version of Islam will become dominant.

What I find to be most interesting about this story is this quote:

‘Iraq’s eight remaining Jews, now hiding in Baghdad’

Eight Jews? How the hell can you even keep tabs on a number so small? They’re literally an endangered species in Iraq, even more so than Christians.

Imagine for a second if America or some other western country allowed this type of activity to go on against the Muslims. Can you even fathom the amount of lawsuits filed by the terrorist front known as CAIR and other liberal groups? The world would go into convolutions over this. Every paper and newscast in the world would read:

BREAKING: Christians & Jews Slaughtering Muslims!

But as we all know, Muslims get to live by a separate list of rules and laws than us common infidels. They also have a MSM pass that allows them to participate in horrible crimes and go unreported. ALLAH AKBAR! Neutral

Here’s the full article:

Iraq’s perils dire for minority faiths

Iraq’s outnumbered Christians and other religious minority groups are targets of a terror campaign and are facing a dire situation where killings and rapes have become the norm, a panel of witnesses testified yesterday on Capitol Hill.

In a hearing convened by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, Canon Andrew White, vicar of St. George’s Anglican Church in Baghdad, and four other panelists unfolded tales of horrors overtaking Christians, Yezidis (angel worshippers) and Mandaeans, members of a pacifist faith that follows the teachings of John the Baptist.

“The situation is more than desperate,” said Mr. White, who described how Christians in Baghdad have been told to convert to Islam or be killed. Hundreds of those who could not afford to flee the country are living in churches without adequate food or water, he said.

“In the past month, 36 members of my own congregation have been kidnapped,” he said. “To date, only one has been returned.”

Iraq’s eight remaining Jews, now hiding in Baghdad, are “the oldest Jewish community in the world,” he said, referring to the 597 B.C. Babylonian conquest of ancient Judah that brought the Jews to the region as captives.

“The international community has done nothing to help these people,” Mr. White said, explaining that the group is trying to emigrate to an Iraqi Jewish enclave in the Netherlands, which won’t admit them.

Michael Youash, director of the Iraq Sustainable Democracy Project, called the situation “soft ethnic cleansing.” The “de-Christianization of Iraq” is not far off, he predicted, saying that Washington has refused to help Iraqi Christians, whose common faith with many Americans has made them loathed by Muslim radicals.

“The State Department just dismisses this as part of an overall conflict,” he said. “But Christians are being disproportionately targeted. The attacks are purely vindictive and vicious. They are meant to give a message.”

Religious minorities have no militias to protect them, Mr. Youash said. “If someone attacks a Shi’ite, there are consequences. If someone attacks a Yezidi or a Mandaean, there are none.”

Pascale Warda, president of the Iraqi Women’s Center in Baghdad, said more than 30 churches have been destroyed; priests have been fatally shot, kidnapped and beheaded; a 14-year-old boy was crucified in Basra; and Baghdad’s once-famous Christian neighborhoods have been emptied of thousands of residents.

“That’s because of fatwas issued by Islamic fundamentalists who give them three choices,” she said. “Convert to Islam, pay the jizya [a tax imposed on non-Muslims] or leave with no personal possessions.”

Suhaib Nashi, general secretary of the Mandaean Associations Union, said that in the past week alone, several Mandaean families in Baghdad were given one hour to leave their homes or be killed.

On Feb. 26, Rena Al-Zuhairy, a 20-year-old Mandaean student, went to school merely to pick up her college degree. “The last voice her mother heard was her crying over the cell phone to save her,” Mr. Nashi said. “The police force is corrupt, often helps attackers and has little to no role in protecting minorities.”

Several panelists criticized Kurdish militias in northern Iraq for joining the persecution.

“Christians flee one dictatorship only to arrive to another dictatorship,” Mr. Youash said. During the January 2005 elections, Kurdish soldiers stole many ballot boxes from areas populated by Christians and Yezidis, he added, but the U.S. government did not respond.

“Minorities learned that standing up for their right to vote only exposed them to greater persecution,” he said.

Latino Supremacy

I stumbled on to a new kind of hate site today. This isn’t your normal KKK website, this is a new breed of racist hate site. It’s a Mexican/Latino
supremacy type site. Here are some of the more interesting quotes from the site:

  • Europeans Collectively have been illegally occupying our continent, like thieves, criminals, killers, parasites on our people and our continent, stealing the wealth of our lands, killing 95% of our people, intentionally using biological warfare (in the form of smallpox that killed 70 to 100 million of our people with this monstrous weapon of mass destruction), enslaving the remains of our people, and using their deformed White Supremacy morality to justify all of their crimes and injustices since 1492!
  • We are Nican Tlaca, the Indigenous People of Canada, U.S., Mexico, and “Central America”. We reject the European divisions of our continent. We reject the artificial divisions of our people. We include “First Nation” and “Native American” and “South American” Nican Tlaca. We say, “No to occupation!” We say, “This is still our continent!”
  • There is today a small, but loud, violent, and powerful part of the European descent people of the world who are sociopathic, mentally sick people, that still hold onto the monstrous (colonial) white supremacist belief that the white race is somehow entitled to continue taking (stealing) wealth from the non-white nations of the world, without serious ethical or moral consequences.

  • We totally reject all illegal European colonial squatter occupation borders on our continent. We also reject COLONIALISM’S false right to keep stealing the wealth of our lands, our continent. AND we also reject their artificial divisions of our people, and their right or power to define who we are as People on our continent!

  • “Thou shall not bear false witness” means it is against the ten commandments to lie.

  • This pope is a white supremacist. To cover up a crime is equal to the original crime. This pope is participating in the Genocide and the enslavement of our people.

  • White denial of how they are still an illegal white colony on our continent.

  • White denial of the savage crimes that they committed to gain everything.

  • White denial of the deformed morality that is the heart of white supremacy.

  • White denial of how racism is built into everything that is American culture.

  • White denial of racism in discussions relating to issues of immigration.

  • White denial of the 200 year history of U.S. racist immigration laws.

  • White denial of how the Minutemen are just another form of the KKK.

  • White denial of the falseness and hypocrisy of their actions as “Christians”.

  • White denial of how they are immorally profiting today from past injustices.

  • White denial of the smallpox biological warfare that killed 95% of our people.

  • White denial protects their children from shame of their heritage of crimes.

  • White denial even keeps our children in ignorance of European crimes, the genocide of our people, and how we have been robbed by Europeans of all of our continent and of our full dignity as human beings.

Well, what else can I say that hasn’t been covered above? Kill the white man! Down with America! Oh wait, they covered that. If you would like to visit this wonderful site, here’s the link to this Mexican Supremacy site.

Barack Hussein Obama submitts to racist hate group “La Raza”

Monday, July 23, 2007 23:13
Posted in category Uncategorized

On Monday, Barack Hussein Obama was speaking in front of La Raza in Miami Beach and stated “in my first term we will make this a priority and get this done” in reference to the amnesty bill that was recently shut down last month by the senate. Obama also stated Barack Hussein Obamathat the debate last month over the amnesty bill was full of both racism and hate.

Hillary also chimed in on the issue with her own distorted view of reality:

“I am very disappointed, and I was really quite offended by the tone of the debate and some of what was said by outside parties who were trying to influence the debate”

Wonder who Clinton was talking about? You mean the 75% of Americans who said no to amnesty? Who the hell cares what the voters want?

What’s more notable is throughout this speech, neither her or Obama ever uttered the words “illegal immigration”. Instead using the PC terms such as “undocumented workers” or simply “immigrants”. Last time I checked, there was a world of difference between an immigrant and an illegal immigrant. But in the distorted mind of a liberal, good is bad and bad is good.

O.K. I have to go to bed before I fall out of my chair. Here’s the full article:

Sen. Barack Obama told the nation’s largest Hispanic advocacy group yesterday that he earned their support for his presidential campaign by marching in last year’s May 1 immigrant rallies and challenged them to learn whether others met that standard.

“Find out how many senators appeared before an immigration rally last year. Who was talking the talk, and who walked the walk — because I walked,” Mr. Obama said at the National Council of La Raza’s annual convention in Miami Beach. “I didn’t run away from the issue, and I didn’t just talk about it in front of Latino audiences.”

The Illinois Democrat said the recent Senate immigration debate “was both ugly and racist in a way we haven’t see since the struggle for civil rights.”

The immigration bill failed late last month when a majority of senators, including 16 members of the Democratic caucus joined most Republicans in a filibuster. It would have combined more border-security spending and new workplace-enforcement rules with a guest-worker program for future workers and a path to citizenship for most illegal aliens.

The bill’s collapse galvanized Hispanic voters and advocacy groups, who say it exposed an anti-immigrant and anti-Hispanic strain among American voters. The groups are vowing to fight back by pointing out when they think the debate turns hateful and are promising to register Hispanic voters so they can show their displeasure at the polls.

Both Mr. Obama and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York Democrat and the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, supported the bill and yesterday assured NCLR that they will work to pass a bill as president.

Mr. Obama was the most forceful, promising “in my first term we will make this a priority and get this done.” Mrs. Clinton said she couldn’t predict an outcome, but would “promise my best efforts.”

In remarks during a morning brunch, Mrs. Clinton said she has been trying “to understand where all of the venom and the incredible anxiety came from” in the immigration debate.

“I am very disappointed, and I was really quite offended by the tone of the debate and some of what was said by outside parties who were trying to influence the debate,” she said.

She blamed the tone on what she called a poor economy under President Bush.

“Until recently, I did not hear the kind of insecurity and opposition to bringing immigrants into American society as I hear today,” she said, adding that when her husband was in office, “people were too busy getting a better future for themselves.”

“They didn’t talk to me about what was or wasn’t on their minds about immigration,” she said.

In response to two audience questions, Mrs. Clinton would not promise to end large-scale raids on illegal aliens in the workplace, which have led to families being separated. Instead, she said she would ask her Homeland Security Department to target employers as well.

“It is time they start going after the employers who abuse and exploit undocumented workers instead of just going after the workers themselves,” she said.

Mrs. Clinton spoke in an informal setting designed more like a late-night TV-interview set. Sitting in a red armchair, she first fielded soft questions from Monica Lozano, publisher and CEO of La Opinion, and then answered five questions from the audience.

Mr. Obama, meanwhile, delivered a speech, then answered a handful of questions from the audience.

He pledged to boost funding for federal, state and local authorities to go after fraudulent predatory lenders who, he said, try to trick low-income borrowers into home loans they can’t afford. He said 40 percent of all subprime loans are held by Hispanics, and blacks hold more than half of them.

Both Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama said a key to better opportunities for Hispanics is early-childhood education.

The two candidates also said they support passing bills such as the Dream Act, which would legalize illegal-alien students and give them a path to citizenship if they stay in school or serve in the military. It would also allow them in-state tuition rates at public colleges and universities.
