<description>It is always refreshing to come across an especially ill-informed and vitriolic editorial of my work. What is especially charming in this diatribe (fraught with inaccurate descriptions and parasitized summaries which are also inaccurate) is that it begs questions about videogames as representation. It may be of interest to Mr. MacNair that videogames exist which depict (or "simulate" as boorishly described) the following "horrible acts:"

-the genocide in Darfur
-the shooting at Virginia Tech
-the collapse of the World Trade Center
-the assassination of JFK
-pedophilia in the Catholic church
-the shoot-out at Waco
-the Holocaust
-the current US bombing campaign in the Middle East

All of these videogames, and many more, are explored in my feature length documentary, "Playing Columbine: a true story of videogame controversy." In the film, such reactionary articles as this one are spearheaded, survivors of school shootings at Columbine and Dawson College are interviewed, and the larger movement of videogames as art is explored in detail by ambitious designers.

Despite allegations of being "twisted" by individuals such as Mr. MacNair, I am proud to announce that the film premiered at AFI Fest in Los Angeles and has been enthusiastically reviewed in Variety. Additionally, the film has been screened at colleges and game design programs across the country as well as in Europe - this after the game "Super Columbine Massacre RPG!" itself has been exhibited at art galleries around the world.

So please do not criticize what you cannot understand. For the times they are a-changing.
