In a stunning turn of events in the War on Terror, President Bush said that he was willing to forgive Osama Bin Laden for the attacks on 9/11/2001. Bush said that Bin Laden vowed to join the United States in the war on terror and offer any assistance he could to help bring terrorists to justice.
This all comes as details have started to unfold over a deal to let Osama Bin Laden purchase 17 airport terminals at four major US airports. The deal is set to happen within the next 12 months.
“I don’t think Bush is compromising our security or Republican beliefs,” said ex-majority whip Tom Delay, speaking from his holding cell in Texas. “If anyone has a clear objective to protect the American people, it’s President Bush.”
However, The business agreement has triggered a firestorm on Capitol Hill with politicians of both parties saying they feared the deal could compromise national security.
“Bin Laden told me personally that he crosses his heart and hopes to die if he’s not being straight with me,” said President Bush at a press conference earlier today. “The American people just need to trust me, I haven’t let them down yet.”
Critics of the deal, which include the entire population of the United States and some Republicans, have vowed to stop this deal from happening despite the constant threat of veto by President Bush to strike down any laws to prevent it.
