I just gave an Internet presentation to a group of 30 regional account executives for my company about blogs, blogging and the blogosphere. I started out with an overview of blogging and the impact it’s had on business, media and government. I then gave detailed instructions on how they can use their internal communications blog, and the rest of the session was Q&A. It lasted roughly an hour and was a great refresher in terms of public speaking.
Speaking of public speaking, I would love to start doing more of it. I enjoy talking with people and I love those little butterflies that show up in my stomach at the start of a speech. As a consultant a few years back, I did a lot more of it, but working for a corporation, the opportunity rarely presents itself.
