The following essay contains some thoughts I have about the problems we face with education in our country and what I think needs to be done in order to make things better. I am a liberal, but my opinions in this essay, and about education, can easily be categorized as conservative. I know from first hand experience that our system of education in this country doesn’t work. I am currently an A student in college; however I was considered a failure in high school and eventually dropped out. The system failed me, here’s why. (more…)
